In December of 2008, I was surprised to find that we were again expecting. Our son had just turned one in October, and while babies were nowhere on our radar, we welcomed the wonderful surprise.
From the start, I could only see in pink. Something in my intuition just knew that we were to have a "she". At thirteen weeks my intuitions were confirmed. A girl indeed. Evelyn Claire to be exact. We chose her name almost the minute we were married. The name Evelyn came from my Great Grandmother whom I adored and was adored by in most beautiful ways that I hope to someday pass along.
I spent my days looking at hair bows, tutus, and custom bedding. We were very much living on a budget and after a few days of being completely saddened by the reality that I couldn't afford a girl, I headed to the craft store.
Thus Evie's first hair bows and tutus were born.
We have been taking custom orders for the last two years, and as our business grows we are so thankful for our most beautiful inspiration.
God has blessed me in ways I can only describe as beyond my imagination.
